Mojca Gal studied violin at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, the Bern University of the Arts, and the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. She plays, among others, in the ensembles Ad Fontes, Arabesque, Grenzklang Baroque Ensemble, Musica Cubicularis, instrumental ensembles of the Basler Madrigalists and Ensemble Orlando, chamber orchestras such as the Freitagsakademie Bern, Neues Mannheimer Orchester, and Opéra de l’Impératrice Payerne. Among her discography are the following: Pregon del cantante vagabundo (Ars Productions), Secret Charms (Coviello), Army of Generals (The Neues Mannheimer Orchester).

 

Mojca is also a professional dancer. She has dedicated herself especially to 18th-century ballet and collaborates with the Canadian choreographer Edmund Fairfax.
