Thys Grobelni, the Slovenian harpsichordist, organist, and composer began his musical training with piano at the age of six. At twelve, he heard the harpsichord for the first time and was immediately captivated by its sound. After studying harpsichord and music education in Austria, he continued his training at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, specializing in harpsichord. He is active as a soloist, conductor, and as a member of various orchestras and ensembles. His greatest passion lies in French music of the 17th and 18th centuries. His compositional output includes more than 150 works for harpsichord, small ensembles, cantatas, masses, and concertos.
Following his studies in Austria and Basel, the Slovenian harpsichordist, organist, and composer Thys Grobelnik performs throughout Europe as a soloist, ensemble musician, and ensemble director. His compositional oeuvre comprises over 150 works.
